Lantheus is a leader in the medical imaging field, with a 60-year history of innovation in devices, products and procedures used worldwide. The company occupies a 76-acre campus in North Billerica, MA. with eight buildings of various sizes and uses.

Lantheus renovated the southernmost building on the campus in order to provide improved amenities for employees, collaborators, and visitors, and to showcase the innovative research and design work that is being done inside.

The scope of work included re-skinning and re-roofing the building, and site upgrades to create outdoor “rooms” for gathering and relaxation. Asphalt parking areas were converted to social spaces utilizing permeable paving and extensive plantings to minimize the heat island effect. Low level bollard lights will be installed to improve wayfinding and to enhance aesthetics, while reducing glare and light pollution.

The site drainage system was upgraded to naturally clean all storm water before it drains to nearby wetlands. A raingarden and several new landscape swales make this process more visible.

Construction was completed in late 2024.
